Review Presentation Day 2

Hello friends, Good morning. We continue today with the second chapter of our lovely book. Dr Ben Carson is still lamenting(2yrs later) why the failure in south Africa. He eventually discovers that he needs to be more grateful than regretful when upon speaking with Dr Mokgokong, he hears that the new instruments purchased for the surgery of the Makwaeba kids is saving more lives.
Not long from now, Dr Mokgokong again rings Dr Ben Carson’s phone–telling him about another set of craniopagus Siamese twins in Zambia that need his consult. This comes as sweet perfume to the ears of Carson. I guess his passion and enthusiasm about the job doesn’t permit him to say no.

With no delays The team starts preparing for the Zambian twin surgery. This case unlike the last, looks more promising as Dr Ben Carson describes the twins as “so full of life”. The labs that pop up also reemphasize that their body organs are functioning independently, a plus that wasn’t seen in the Makwaeba twin case.

Another thing that makes this case interesting is that Candy-the wife will travel alongside the husband Dr Ben Carson to Madunsa where the surgery is to take place. A trip(from New York to south Africa) that was meant to be stressful becomes a rather exciting and adventurous event as they get to visit the Krueger Park to enjoy the site of wildlife.

While this is going on, Carlson remains intentionally prayerful about the task ahead and asks that God please grant him success -if he wills.

This is a special case as he prepares for the surgery with a 3D visual imaging system-a recent technology.

‘That night in my room, thinking about the surgery that was scheduled to begin at 6:30 the following morning, I spent time in personal meditation and prayer. This was not an unusual occurrence………. And I always make a special pint of praying for the patients I will be operating on and for their families ‘.

My Friend, your big Picture keeps motivating you at your very lows. I see this in our Author. To him , every negative experience he had was just a springboard to better ways of tackling challenges.

If there is a man to pray, then there is a God to answer.
